Today was such an amazing day. It just so happened that I already had a hot tub party planned with some of my girl friends to celebrate some of their recent accomplishments. So it was a great way to celebrate our referral as well. I had pictures of Annabel printed out for when the ladies arrived for dinner. It was wonderful to hear their excitement for our family. Mark and Joey headed to the movies for a guys night. They had a blast. The water felt soooo good. I always sleep so sound after relaxing out there under the stars. Our hot tub was the first gift I purchased for our family after becoming a Director. Thank you Mary Kay!!!

We have a daughter!!
Today we received the call we have been waiting for. For over 18 months I have been dreaming of the words "We have a little girl for you". Our daughter (I just love saying that) Gu Yi Xi was born on May 11, 2006. She is currently 13 months old and is living in an orphanage in Kunshan, China. We will be naming her Annabel Joy. Once we receive our final approval I will post her photos.

Graduation
Both Amber and Joey graduated this year from their schools. I cannot believe how fast time flies. They were both babies yesterday and here they are heading off on new adventures. Amber's school had a graduation dance that evening as well. Her and her friends looked so grown up. I cannot believe they are headed for High School. The kids are very excited about the fun filled summer we have planned. We plan on doing a lot of camping and good old fashioned family fun. This will be the last summer we are a family of four so we are going to try do get in as much excitement as possible. haha

We spent the weekend camping up in the mountains with Mark's command. There were about 10 families in all and believe it or not the dogs out numbered the people. It was so much fun. Very relaxing. It was the first time we have "dry camped". Although since we had the generator we really still had all the comforts of home. Mark and the kids went swimming in the "cold" lake, we enjoyed the bon fire, we went for a very fast ride on a ski boat and had a bear come through our camp. All in all it was a huge success.
